Prophecy given 28th December 2014
“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land– not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.” (Amos 8:11-12)
“Disciples of Jesus – that time is upon us.
With so many false and deceptive teachers, prophets, preachers and pastors espousing ‘feel-good’ positive inspirational messages rather than the truth of the Gospel and God’s Word.
Contrast that verse from Amos with what God has declared to those who faithfully preach His Word:
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’” (Zechariah 8:23)
That promise is to all who faithfully walk with God and preach the truth of His Word.
God is with us, and those who hunger for the truth will see that, and God will confirm His Word by the signs that accompany it. (Mark 16:20 ; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 ; Zechariah 4:6)
So we need to be selective using Godly discernment and wisdom as to who we listen to and take note of, and who we should reject.”
