Prophecy given 2nd January 2012

This year (2012) will see the start of the restoration of the anointings of “John the Baptist”, “Elijah”, and of the “5-Fold Ministry” to its proper place in the Body of Christ:

John the Baptist:

“In those days John the Baptist appeared, preaching in the Wilderness of Judea [along the western side of the Dead Sea] and saying, Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand’. This is the one who was mentioned by the prophet Isaiah when he said, ‘The voice of one shouting in the wilderness,
Prepare the road for the Lord, Make His highways straight (level, direct)!’” (Matthew 3:1-3 AMP)

“It is written in Isaiah the prophet: ‘I will send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way – a voice of one calling in the desert, Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him.’” (Mark 1:2-3)

Elijah:

“Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].” (Malachi 4:5-6 AMP)

Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?  But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him.” (Mark 9:12-13)

I believe that this year there will be the start of a renewal of the 5 Fold Ministry back into the rightful place in the Body of Christ.

“It was He (Jesus) Who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up ” (Ephesians 4:11-12)

God is calling forth His “Elijahs” and His “John the Baptists” to prepare the way of the second coming, to prepare the way of the Lord.

Jesus is calling His Apostles to plant Churches and to pass on anointings and bless ministries.

Jesus is calling His Prophets to bring correction into the Body, to speak forth even when it will be unpopular – but none the less they will do so without fear or favour.

Prophets who will not compromise, who will not  allow worldliness and sin to be allowed in the Body and who will speak out against foul mouths and lives.

They will speak out and speak up, not because they always want to, but because that is what Jesus has called them to do.

Jesus is calling His Evangelists to preach His Word faithfully with signs and wonders as God confirms His Word by the signs that accompany it.

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,  so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

“… and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His Word by the signs that accompanied it.” (Mark 16:20)

Jesus is calling His Pastors to correctly and obediently shepherd the people of God leading them into fullness of life with Him. To prepare them for the revival that is coming, to disciple them, to help them understand the times in which we live.

Jesus is calling His Teachers who will be faithful and true to the whole Word of God – and not preach the ‘bless me doctrine’ that focuses on what we get (scratching itching ears) but rather on what we give.

Teachers who will not compromise allowing worldliness and sin to be allowed.

Teachers who will speak out against foul mouths and lives.

Teachers who will read, and know for themselves, the Book of Revelation and to pass that on, preparing the people of God for persecution and trials – not just “blessings”.
